Deloitte chooses Spain for its technology development centre in Emea.

It will join the consulting firm’s network of integrated, high value-added hubs around the world.

The centre will offer solutions for the firm in the Emea region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

This technology development hub currently employs more than 600 professionals and aims to double in size over the next two years, which will create new jobs in the country and attract talent.

Professionals located in the firm’s offices in Andalusia, Aragon and Galicia will work for this centre in the development of technology linked to cloud and analytical, development and integration processes.

Deloitte’s technology development centre in Spain will be staffed mainly by graduates and professionals with higher education degrees specialising in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

In addition to the centre, Deloitte Spain has international hubs such as the one dedicated to Robotics – the first centre of excellence in the country specialising in this field – and the Deloitte Emea Cybersphere Center, which offers cybersecurity solutions.

«The technology development centre will allow us to continue adding technological capabilities and incorporate the best talent to accompany our clients in their most complex transformation challenges,» explains Eduardo Miracle, partner of Technology Consulting and leader of the Technology Development Centre at Deloitte Spain.
